Government Benefits Appeals

As with other federal benefits programs, Veterans Administration decisions regarding benefit eligibility may be appealed.  Your first step is to file a "Notice of Disagreement" form, which is available from the VA office, along with a brochure outlining the appeals procedure. 

Social Security Administration

Under certain circumstances, special extra earnings for your military service from 1957 through 2001 can be credited to your record for Social Security purposes.  These extra earnings credits may help you qualify for Social Security or increase the amount of your Social Security benefit.

USDA Section 504 Grant Program

$7,500.00 one-time/lifetime grant to very-low income, rural homeowners who are 62 y ears of age or older.
