NOVEL APPROACH TO LEGAL SERVICE BREWING IN THE NORTHWOODS Legal Grounds Wisconsin® is a free Legal Coffeehouse where volunteer attorneys answer brief questions on legal issues such as Family Law, Landlord Tenant matters, or Utilities over a complimentary cup of coffee. New Location! Legal Grounds Wisconsin® is happy to share the parlor room at the YWCA of Wausau. Please feel free to enter through the Grant Street side of the building using the red double doors.
Allister Deacon’s Coffee House is the newest java stop in downtown Wausau. Located at 300 North 3rd Street in Historic Washington Square, Allister's offers a coffee and espresso bar along with tea and bakery items in a lively atmosphere. Next time you stop for a java refill, please thank Ken and Jim for their generous donation of coffee to "Legal Grounds Wisconsin®."

SUPERHERO STARTER KIT
Designed with volunteer lawyers and active bar association members in mind, a superhero starter kit (SSK) is a call to action. In an age of limited funding, representation and resources for vulnerable populations, there is a dire need for attorneys to engage in pro bono lawyering. Engaging in pro bono work by taking on new cases, starting a volunteer legal clinic from scratch, or enhancing an existing program takes a lot of planning and resources.
